Thing of the day? Mine? No, You’re an angel what? Another day, another bag of things cultivated, clawed, civilised rides on London buses…..Cat food? Catnip? That piece of art there, Mine…..

Mine is the work of London-based artist JULIA MADISSON, expect more of Julia’s work at the Back in Black group show of paintings and more that opens at Cultivate, Vyner Street, London, E2 om January 31st

JULIA MADISSON

“This is not Cardiacs. This is just a tribute.to Tim Smith” said the person who posted this anonymous and rather beautiful cover of a Cardiacs song…. not sure if they want to be anonymous, it is a rather fine version, here they are (until they say different)

Now go treat yourself….and again….and again….

and again.and again

The masked and slightly mysterious band known to one and all as THE CLAW are working up to a March release of their rather impressive swirl of a debut single. The limited edition seven incher from the London/Berlin based band (how does that work then?)  is released in March and the rather melodic, slightly psychedelic alternative sounding band (who we’re told have a big more of a prog rock flavour and a dalliance with an other rock style time-signature or two) are playing at the Garage, London, on the 23rd Feb (with with support from Underground Railroad and Trieste). That single sounds a bit Levitation meets Mint 400 and things from long long other places that all come swirling around again like the middle of a Vertigo record, you’re an angel what? Life is peachy, catfood? We like the sound of The Claw… faster inside….

Now go treat yourself again, catfood? Catfood, talking to her neighbour, while she polishes her sabre, your mother;s gone insane……

Whole lot of Sundance 2013 shorts gone up on line via Youtube, here’s one now…………
