Singer Joe Cocker has died aged 70, his management team has confirmed Born John Robert Cocker on 20 May 1944 in Sheffield, he died today after a battle with lung cancer.. He lived in Sheffield until his early 20s. His international success as a blues/rock singer began in 1964. Joe created 40 albums and toured extensively around the globe.
