Organ Preview: The Art Car Boot Fair will Pop again on Friday, this time it happens on line for a whole week. Here’s what the fair have to say about it…

That’s right, after last Saturday’s triumphs in the square beneath the towers over in Kings Cross – ORGAN THING: And so the 2023 Art Car Boot Fair happened, drag queens strutted, art popped, performers danced, there was posing, pop music, a piss artist and of course car boots full of art… – The Art Car Boot Fair will now pop up on line for a whole week. Opening on Friday 22nd September at Midday and running until Midnight on October 1st. Something like 120 artists, most of whom were in the square for the brilliant live event last weekend, some who are joining in just for the online even. If you want first pickings, you need to treat yourself to a £5 ticket that allows you first access to the site at midday, the whole thing becomes free to entre after 2pm on the Friday and for a whole week afterwards before it all closes again.
Pretty sure the artists will be adding new work as the event evolves throughout the week and one big tip, do go back and look again if something is marked as sold, it will often just mean it was just be in someone’s basket as they make their mind up and more often than not the piece you wanted will reappear and be available again half an hour later. Actually, speaking as an artist, buying direct from ther artists via the Art Car Boot Fair is a brilliant way of supporting both us and the great artist-led institution that is the fair.
