Two things today, two things of the day, I think the idea was to just post a thing of the day and not let this Organ thing suck up all the hours…
Hanetration – Resonator EP – It landed, by the magic of elevtronic mail, in our spam box actually, all the way from Cornwall, the message reads “hi there, hope all is well, just a note to say that after a six-year hiatus, i’m pleased to say i’ve released my 11th EP. It’s organic and windswept and bombastic and bleak, and i hope you like it. Please do give it a listen, let me know what you think”.
Some of it is soothing and all purple and misty blue, some of it kind of haunting in the way the gentle quietness of the sea at night can be, some of it gets a little tribal or maybe a touch Pagan, none of it is ever too dark but there is an undercurrent, a warm undercurrent, some of it is very very quiet, beautifully so, hardly moving, it kind or requires, without ever demanding, that you quietly listen all the way to the beautifully quiet end… It kind of sounds like like the artwork
