Two rather artistic designers we’ve encountered recently both with rather positive things happening at the moment. We encountered Eden Sherry‘s rather bold creations at the Secret Salon exhibition over in Crystal Palace last weekend, Eden’s lines are exciting.

Eden Sherry

“My collection ‘Suspended In Gabber’ explores dressing my community, a fast paced city lifestyle, with clothing that adapts and celebrates the mess of young creative lives. I am making adaptable, luxury garments that can change fit and function depending on your setting or environment”.

Eden’s work has style. those lines are bold, there’s an element of fun, it is a serious matter though, in tune and it was rather positive to see the work presented almost as sculpture at the Secret Salon last week. Eden is currently crowdfunding for a final graduate collection and show Eden on Instagram

Lust in Peace

Meanwhile Lust In Peace is the name that a a rather lush London-based designer called Barbara, I guess you’d call Lust In Peace her brand, it does feel like a lot more than just a brand though, those rather delicious handmade cushions have soul, they have heart, this is warm creativity, they have a rather powerful undercurrent – tactile, artistic, decadent, catch those fetish-flavoured cushions and Barbara’s rather unique fabric manipulation at the next Le Boutique Bazaar in East London on April 7th. As always, do click on an image to see it in full or to get a bit of a flavour of both artists… (model for Lust In Peace: Miss Found A)
