Major danger? Danger danger, we remember them, where were we, something about an air puncher, do like a good air puncher. we’re static, we’re ready, ecstatic, insane, never static, we’re going off and things, frantic, we didn’t get where we are today without celebrating these sounds, this is the sound of the suburbs, or somewhere, the proper sound of rock, never burred. The press quote on the Bandcamp page says something about an air puncher, it is indeed (another) air puncher…

“I love anthemic, tug-at-your-heartstrings kind of music. I really do. And I think these guys do too…” and so the details of the debut Upright Forms album have just emerged, the “I love…” quote is from Nick Sakes speaking on a joint Zoom with bassist Noah Paster and drummer Shaun Westphal, his bandmates in Upright Forms, about their upcoming debut album, Blurred Wires –  “If you’ve followed Sakes’ past output on SKiN GRAFT Records during the past 30-plus years — three LPs and various EPs, singles and compilation appearances, spanning four different bands — his statement might surprise you. This is, after all, the same man who spent most of the ‘90s howling over the surgically precise prog-punk of Dazzling Killmen and later the unhinged avant-rock of Colossamite, and then returned to the label in the 2010s as half of the ferocious, No Wave–inspired duo Xaddax.”

And well we are just throwing up signposts here at Organ, communication as it were, here you go, this is where you find it. and we’ve loved pretty much everything Nick Sakes and his various bands have ever done, so today, Skin Graft Records have announced details and shared a taste of the debut Upright Forms album, due out at the end of June… here it is via Bandcamp.
