“The Art Car Boot Fair is back at King’s Cross on Saturday 7th September for a day of art, frivolity and serious bargains!” I think we might jusy have mentioned this already but it is an artist-led artist friendly thing (something rare for a so called Art Fair, most of them rather cynically just treat us artists as thier cash cows)

“Featuring major artists including Rankin, Sara Pope, Hayden Kays, Helen Beard, Juno Calypso, Russell Heron, Pure Evil and Ben Eine” alongside a cast of around 120 artists who will all be there in their boots or behind their stalls or in JuliaMaddison’s case her washing line. Find a fill list of artists here, although I ssupect a few names have been added since – ORGAN PREVIEW: Space is the place, the full line up for this year’s Art Car Boot Fair has been announced, things blast off on 7th September 2024, more than just another art fair, this is an artist-led art party and always one of the highlights of the London art year…

“It’s the one day in the art calendar when artists let their hair down, make something new and sell it for shockingly low prices. Get your ticket now!” We do indeed although some of us already price outselves shockingly low…

For those of you not in London, there is an online version opening on Friday and running for a week, more about that when we all get back from King’s Cross on Saturday evening…

Anyway, the live event/party happens this Saturday from midday until 6pm at Cubbit Yard, Kings Cross, London, it is one of my favourite art days of the year and the weather is still promising to hold for one last Summer blast before the Autumn Art Season really kicks in. One more outside dance with those brilliant LowLife DJs – ORGAN PREVIEW: Five days until The Art Car Boot Fair Goes Into Space, now with added Lowlife DJs and their NY House Party, see, much more than just another art fair, this is a full on art party!
