We did share a first taste of the new Gösta Berlings Saga album a couple of weeks ago, the band from Stockholm, Sweden are always worth your time, a lush experimental forward looking properly progressive band, progressive rock that does not rely on clichés or indeed showing off, and a million miles from that Neo nonsense. The band have just let loose a second taste of what so far is sounding like a rather fine new album, an epic nineteen minute instrumental slice of prog called Fragment I that you really do need to take nineteen proper minutes out to listen to without distraction, to float off with, to bite on to. It is maybe a little more floaty and space-flavoured than they usually are, if you don’t know the band already, do explore more further down the page….

You can fine the track right now on Bandcamp and indeed grab at a pay whatever you want price…

The last time we bumped in to these fine people, they were bouncing around at te front of the Cardiacs gathering at the Garage celebrating Tim Smith with the rest of us.
