A quick Organ Thing of The Day today for we have places to be as we start to think about looking forward to that new album here’s a piece of beauty that just got posted, something for us to delight in sharing here. A beautiful film using footage shot at the Salisbury Mares Nest concert recording, June 1990. Those were very very special times. A film put together by Nick Elborough
“I put this together for the spring symposium before covid. It was first shown at the Salisbury arts centre. The very same place where mares nest took place. Thankfully Tim was able to attend and seemed to enjoy it immensely. It was an honour to be able to play with some if the source footage and set it to one of my favourite live tracks. The bass on this live was just awesome and I always loved thd transcendental nature of it. It always took me somewhere warm, fuzzy and loverly! This was all black and whire super 8 footage that was filmed at the same time as the main mares nest cameras” said Nick
More in a moment, here’s another #43SecondFilm…
previously….
And lots more coverage on the current Organ website, there is of course lots and lots that came before this version of the website and indeed in print
And this, this is just such a fine version of a Mr and Mrs Smith and Mr Drake song, another #43SecondFilm
