An Organ Thing of the Day? Well as we kick in with 2026 and the first Other Rock Show of the still new year tonight. The 2026 schedule at London’s unique arts radio station Resonance 104.4FM kicked in seven days ago, the first Other Rock Show of the year is on tonight at 8pm UK time, 104.4FM in London, worldwide on line via www.resonancefm.com, but there is still time to cast half an ear back to last year and the now traditional yearly thing that is the pay what you want for it Cuneiform Records download sampler album that this time kicks off with maybe not the best cut off the Roger Miller’s current rock band Trinary System‘s rather tasty new album (he of Sproton Layer and later the excellent Mission of Burma) and then takes you through loads of Prog, Jazz and several points in between. Cuneiform Records have been around for years consistantly releasing important album, the label has been one of our favourites for ages now. There was maybe not quite so much on the prog side in 2025, but hey, still loads of tasty earfood. And if you don’t know the label have a poke around and find the samplers from previous years as well in their Bandcamp page, or maybe go explore the dozens and dozens (and dozens) of reviews of Cuneiform material on these pages… Downloads the samplers for free but do remember to go buy an album or two if you can, tough keeping labels like Cuneiform going….
