An Organ Thing for today, for the last day of February. Pas Musique are a collective that started back in 1995 in Brooklyn, NY, USA, driven by the creative talents of Robert L. Pepper working in the mediums of sound and video. Since then Pas Musique has evolved into a collective with many different instrumentations and line ups. We have covered Pas Musique before on these pages, right now they’re half way through a series of eight films that kind of do all the talking for themselves. Here is that just released fourth film as well as the first three…

“8 Phrases is a journey returning to the old production techniques of Pas Musique’s films produced around 2008-2011. Audio and video are solely one take tracks and shots nodding to the improvisational recording and filming techniques that provide an innocence and no nonsense approach to creativity. Then the media is organized and edited into arthouse films”.
