Today’s Organ Thing of The Day? And well, as we were talking of Sleepytime Gorilla Museum yesterday, it was a gig announcement that passed our way that reminded us just how good Gumby’s Junk are. The gig is in Sacramento, California but that doesn’t really matter, unless of course you live near Sacramento, California, then you need to know that the gig is on May 24th (or is it on the 23rd? The point being hey, here’s two bands more than interesting enough to be invited to share a bill with the mighty Sleepytime. I see Gumby’s Junk are playing Portland, go explore and find out for yourselves, whatever’s going on it reminded us that we really should say something about Oakland-based art rock band Gumby’s Junk, they have featured on our radio show a number of times but never on these pages, something that really needed to be put right.
