A quick Organ preview for our Thing of The Day today for today we are very busy mixing tapes and such. London’s Haricot Gallery re-opens this week, wonder if they’ll still have a green door. We saw and indeed covered some good shows in their previous space, good to see them back in action, here’s the details…

“Two days to go! The Drunken Boat opens this week and we are so excited”. The Drunken Boat? “The Drunken Boat takes its title from Le Bateau ivre (The Drunken Boat), written in 1871 by Arthur Rimbaud, who together with fellow poet Paul Verlaine, lived on London’s Royal College Street in 1873. The Drunken Boat is the name of an exhibition opening  in two days (if you’re reading this today that is) “The exhibition brings together twenty-two artists, many of whom have shaped our programme since we opened at 2 Blackall Street three years ago”. We’re talking about Haricot Gallery, previously of Shoreditch, and the gallery’s first show in their new Camden space. “Please join us for a drink to celebrate the opening of the new space, and our inaugural exhibition opening on Thursday 19th March, 6-9pm. There will also be treats to snack on whilst taking in all the incredible works”.
