Firday, a touch of LIARS is the thing today…..
Those LIARS may not be as gloriously menacing and ready to put you in a bag and drag you to the woods as they once were but New York’s (are they still based in New York? No, hang on they moved to L.A they told us about it last time we interviewed them). Liars are still coming up with something somewhere near the goods. Here’s a new video…
LIARS – Angus Andrew, Julian Gross and Aaron Hemphill – have premiered a brand new video – the title track from their latest album, WIXIW, and announced details of a series of dates in the US and Europe.

Directed by ALEX/2TONE from What You Steal, the video is described by Angus Andrew as “…like a beautifully shot black and white basketball version of Sisyphus.” Read an interview with ALEX/2TONE, who Liars featured as Guest Editors at Dazed Digital .

The video shows a basketball player shooting a hoop, time and time again watched by an audience of characters that includes the band.
