This June Cultivate will be vacating Vyner Street, for one day only, and taking a car boot full of CULTIVATE EVOLVED artists along to the BRICK LANE ART CAR BOOT FAIR (again)  deepest East London. 

The in-house Cultivate Evolved artists will in that fun packed (and it is fun, art should be fun) car park at Brick Lane again on Sunday June 8th (Midday until 6pm)

Currently the Cultivate in-house artists are SEAN WORRALL, EMMA HARVEY, MOB, QUIET BRITISH ACCENT, JULIA MADDISON and JESSICA BALLANTYNE…

Alongside the work of the Cultivate in-house artists you can expect a small selection of work from Cultivate regulars BENJAMIN JENSEN, BORTUSK LEER, MICHELLE MILDENHALL, BERNADETTE LOUISE Heartbreaker Housewife, MARIE-LOUSE JONES and that knitting pattern fiend 616

What can you expect this year?

SEAN WORRALL follows last year’s well received One Hundred Pieced Cardboard Piece (it all sold within the first hour) with a new One Hundred Pieced Vinyl Piece…

Once again a piece of art that consists of one hundred pieces to be sold in one hundred parts, and this time all on recycled unwanted 12″ vinyl records. Each piece will come in a hand printed numbered signed cover, all one hundred painted at the same time, the painting to be documented on social media as it evolves, each piece will be on sale at £10.

QUIET BRITISH ACCENT will have more of their mix of pop art, musical references, punk rock and football culture with their unique style and bold letter forms. American style pennants alive with cockney Rhyming slang, their hot dog football chant eyeballs and more

 

JULIA MADDISON will break off from her tangle of Used Boots and Panties (at Cultivate) to present a new outburst of handmade monoprints, bunting, wordery and none of it is going to hurt, well not your pocket anyway

EMMA HARVEY could well be feeding you art tarts, we shall see what she has cooked up on the day? There may be ribbons or…

JESSICA BALLANTYNE will be on the beach, waiting for surf…

MOB just makes art rather then talks about it.

We shall have BORTUSK LEER monsters, 616 knitting patterns, MICHELLE MILDENHALL (ball-gag) prints and more more… Expect art priced from £1.00 upwards…

What else can you expect? Well expect a rush to grab the affordable art of the big names like Peter Blake, Tracey Emin and such, expect Pure Evil in the big orange evil van laughing is head off as he screen prints away, expect performance, events, music, classic Vauxhall cars, Indian taxis, expect the unexpected, expect ii to be fun…
