ORGAN: Beg, Borrow, Steal in a derelict house on a Peckham back street. Martin Creed releases a free single

Tonight, what’s happening tonight, First Thursday of the month, East London not looking that exciting tonight, not a lot to stop us heading South. Do like the idea  of art happening in the dereliction, a derelict space where once people lived, where lives unfolded and no longer do

Thursday 3rd December, BEG, BORROW, STEAL #7 at Safehouse 1 139 Copeland Road, London SE15 3SN

Beg, Borrow, Steal #7

Beg, Borrow, Steal #7

BEG, BORROW, STEAL #7 –  “Neither present nor absent, neither dead nor alive – A collection of artists, invited to respond to a derelict house on a Peckham back street, will take residence in rooms that may once, or many times have been occupied, lived in, visited, passed through, avoided, run to or fled from. A selection of works will reveal themselves over the course of a night, perhaps in the form of performance, intervention, reading, installation, live and recorded sound, image, object or experience. Join us for an unforeseeable evening of events, a drink from the bar* and a wander in and out of spaces, visited by artists and audience alike”.

Featuring: Tom Cassani, Jack Catling, Megan Garrett-Jones, Sarah Gavin, Ella Golt, Laura Genevieve Jones, Laura Dee Milnes, People Show, Annabelle Stapleton-Crittenden, Alexis Thompson, curated by Laura Dee Milnes
