Organ Thing of The Day: a new Sean Scully piece, Landline, was unveiled today in London’s Hanover Square, there to become “a new and permanent landmark in one of the oldest and most important civic spaces in London” and blatantly stolen for Scully’s own social media just now, stolen photographs by David Levene. We do like a bit of Sean Scully, we like the way he tells it, the way he both walks it and talks it, I do like his paint, his stripes, this new piece fits rather wall alongside those gloriously painterly stripes we’ve enjoyed so many times on gallery walls…
