Organ Thing of The Day for that is still what we’re trying to do here, just bring you one fine thing every day, an Organ Thing of The Day, keep it all simple. Of course it doesn’t work like that and some days we post book loads of words and more, far too many words when this version of the soon to be thirty-eight year old Organ was ment to be simple. The previous page was the 3,500th in this format and well some things seemingly just go on, some in a more glorious way than others. Peter Hammill has just gloriously worked through an Italian tour when most sane people of his age would opt for the warmth of home, but this is Peter Hammill and these are pieces of bootleg footage, pieces of treasure than we probably shouldn’t just share but we will and it really could have been any of the many songs he’s been performing on the tour, well besides Vision, we had to have Vision, one of the most beautiful songs ever as Marc Almond (or Johnny Rotten) will tell you… Here then, as our Thing of The Day today are some gathered together pieces of beautifully raw performance from Peter Hammill’s Italian tour…
