Now we have kind of gone on about that deliciously hardboiled new Yowie album Taking Umbrage rather a lot already, it came out at the start of the month via SkinGraft. Who needs music reviews these days? Really you just need those signposts don’t you? You know we have immaculate tastes around here, we have a reputation to uphold. You know if we say something is good then it is going to be worth a moment of your time don’t you? Here’s the link to the album review – ORGAN THING: Yowie’s new album then, Taking Umbrage is seriously hard-boiled, it is relentless, it does peck. Hypnotic, purely about playing with rhythm. Hyper composed math rock or something like that…
Today, ahead of Friday’s much anticipated London Show (support from the rather tasty Why Patterns and Sacred Little Toaster, a band who sound well worth your time as well) Yowie and SkinGraft have released another video, here it is (the gig details are further down)
Another video from another very fine Yowie album, find more via these delicious links…. Bandcamp / SkinGraft
