The five thing again? Already? Five more? Again?. Again and again and again (and again). Five more, same as last time (and the time before) five more musical things to explore, another five? Already? Alright already? You never did answer the question, shame about Cuffed Up last time around, where’s did we put the plot? Dive? Five? Five more pieces of earfood? Shall we do it again? Back to back to back being back to the five musical things thing and the fractured music portal yet again (and again and again) and yeah, we did say all this last week and the weeks before and blah blah blah while the whole world window and no, we never do and the proof of the pudding and all that proof reading. It doesn’t really matter if it was a television fizzing and going off and things back then when we first heard of the Window going off and things. and like we did ask last time, does anyone bother reading the editorial? Does anyone ever actually look down the rabbit hole or is it all just method acting? Cut to the chase, we could just cut ‘n paste the editorial from the last time, there’s loads of music further down the page, well five or so pieces of music, cut to the damn chase, who needs an editorial? Who needs any of this? Who needs it, who needs it, just cut t to the chase…
Apparently on this day five years ago were were appreciating Oust, that and Fantastic Negrito and the Last Days of Oakland…
Five musical things then…
1: Mr Sterile, not with his Assembly this time, a solo single from the man from New Zealand, his two piece (very) leftfield punk rock band never ever fail to deliver, they are regulars on our pages and airwaves, they’re excellent live, they have great eyelashes, here’s the single, do check out both sides of the thing now…
.
2: Amyl and The Sniffers, nothing much needed by way of words, been out there a couple of weeks now, just fire it up and try it out… …..
.
3: Korto, Enregistré à l’Atelier à Cluses (FR) en juin 2021 which good old (baad old) Google tells us means “Recorded at the Atelier in Cluses (FR) in June 2021”. Who are Korto? Here’s the link. We last featured the French band back in 2017 – ORGAN: Five more musical things with Korto, Lydia Lunch Retrovirus, Murmur Tooth, Diamond Terrifier Cipher, Vonneumann and a touch of G.L.O.S.S…, Seems the three piece did release a rather fine EP in 2020, this revent live footage jsut came out way…
4: Bad Fractals say they’re “Shaman Gangsters tearing their way through Acid Punk, Malevolent Music Hall & Trailer Trash Blues in a….”. Well you get the picture, not sure why this is parked here or why it passed our way this week but hey, “!In 2012 Bad Fractals were born, kicking and screaming out of a squat in north London. At a time when many were touting the end of the world, Bang Crosby and Astral Oz sought to soundtrack it with chaotic joy… read on and figure it out for yourselves if you have a mind to, we don’t really mind what you do, we’re jsut here posting signposts and pointing the way to things, the choice is yours and well the cup of instant coffee I just made was awful and the floods last night weren’t fun. Bad Fractals, there’s the video, here’s their Facebook page
5: The Muslims – I think they explain it all themaselves don’t they? “Yup bitch. All-queer, Black & Brown Muslim Punk band”, they’re from Durham, North Carolina, you ca nfind the travk here on Bandcamp or you could go explore their website, seems they just they just signed a wreckord deal, hang on, don’t Epitaph still owe us money from bac kin our print days? “Problematic punk band, The Muslims, announce signing to Epitaph records. Along with this truly horrible news, they dropped a music video and new song, F*ck These F*ckin Fascists”.
Here’s some more. do what you will with it all….
.
.There you go, we might do it again in a few days, then again….
And while we’re here, let’s just park this piece of beauty at the foot of the page
And why not this as well, Yes sounding beautifully raw and organic
