ORGAN THING: The new Isildurs Bane and Peter Hammill album is out today, hear it all here or tastes of it on The Other Rock Show…

The new Peter Hammill album made with excellent Swedish band Isildurs Bane is officially released today, you can now hear (and buy) the whole thing via the magic of Bandcamp. We did review the album here on these fractured pages a couple of months ago – ORGAN THING: Isildurs Bane and Peter Hammill – In Disequilibrium – A first listen to and the details of the new album… And the album has been featuring rather regularly on our radio show on London arts radio station Resonance 104.4fm in the build up to the release. The radio show goes out live via FM in London and all over the globe via the web at 9pm UK time on a Sunday night or alternatively can be listen back to old episodes via Mixcloud at anytime you like.

.

The Other Rock Show went like this last week – “Marina Organ presents an hour of music that uses unconventional structures and ‘other’ time signatures – gathered from the worldwide undergrounds of math rock, avant prog, weird electronica and strange pop. This week: music from Radon Chong, Simon McKechnie, Sun Colored Chair, the Unstoppable Sweeties Show, Psychoyogi, Matt Lebofsky, Sonus Umbra, A Formal Horse and Upsilon Acrux, and the new Isildur’s Bane and Peter Hammill, and Alex Ward albums.
