Fresh Van Der Graaf Generator news, the band are of course on tour right now, the UK leg opened in Birmingham last night, was the small earthquake that happened under the city as the set was finishing just coincidence? 2.8 so they say, the band were playing Still Life at the time apparently. Anyway, “We hope all’s well. Here’s news of upcoming releases from the iconic Van Der Graaf Generator. At last, the band can tour. It’s happening! And at last vinyl releases are on the schedule. And also The Charisma Years Box is being re-pressed due to high demand”. There’s also new of some 7″ vinyl reissues underneath the video that was sent out with the press release for no particular reason. It really is a non-news story really, I don’t know, is Theme One a rather boring choice for a seven inch? Anyway, the info is down there, the singles will be available via Burning Shed if you wish, surely they could have been a little more adventurous with the choices? Put out a proper single, fire it at new ears, we’ve all got these re-issues hundreds of times now!

Here’s some screen shots of the press release, do click on an image to enlarge or to run the slide show..
