For those of you who might have been thinking about this Friday’s Poly-Math gig in London, you might like to note the last minute venue change. They are no longer playing on the street that the secret Organ bunker is based on and instead are a couple of miles away over in Islington, damn inconsiderate I say. The latest Poly-Math album was rather positively reviewed on the Organ pages about a month or so ago, this is the launch gig for said album. Who knows why the venue change has happened, we can imagine though. The gig, brought to you by Chaos Theory, is now happening at The Grace in Highbury and Islington this Friday May 8th, The gig is a launch gig for the new Poly-Math album as well as a the launch of Opensight‘s new album. This information is brought to you by your ever caring Organ, we do indeed care a lot about these things, almost as much as we care about the Garbage Pail Kids, they never lie, it is a dirty job. Link to the excellent new Poly-Math album review under the gig flyer….

The Poly-Math album review – ORGAN THING: Poly-Math have a new album, Something Deeply Hidden once again blends that almost seamless mix of Ethio-Jazz, classic Prog, Math-Rock and Post-Rock in that way only they can…
As for Opensight, well, all sounds rather bombastically heavy metal shaped to me, the bits we’ve heard anyway, that so called progressive metal thing that sometimes hits the spor and often doesn’t. We;ve only heard the two tracks on their Bandcamp page, you can go have a listen if you want, hard to get a serious idea from just two tracks, not really making these ear want more though. I’m off to blast a Demon album and wonder why nothing grows on Blackheath or something. Now that was a proper progressive metal album and that time Demon played an Organ gig in the middle of Camden one of the best of the thousands of gigs we put on. here’s Opensight bandcamp thing….
