Today’s Slice Of Art: well this one did catch an eye a couple of weeks ago, been meaning to post it, an Evelyn Snoek piece.
Evelyn Snoek talks of a journey through layered time, sculpted space, and the living body of paint. She’s an artist working in colour, layered material, and increasingly, sculpture — reworking and rebuilding pieces over years of practice. Evelyn Snoek lives and works in The Hague, Netherlands and well, we’ll just park the image of this piece here as Today’s Slice Of Art, a piece that dates from 2024…
Today’s Slice Of Art then, we did say we would do this, maybe not every single day, more often than not though, there can never be too much art on these pages, here comes another slice…
A simple feature, just an almost daily slice of the art posted. Some days it might be a piece of art from someone we’ve been regularly covering on these pages (and maybe working with in terms of Cultivate), other days it might be something by an (almost) household name, on other days it might be a piece of art by someone who work we hadn’t known until the day we posted it.
Today we feature a painting (or is it a sculpture?) by Evelyn Snoek, a piece from her Lines and layers series….
