Shall we have an Organ Thing of The Day Today? Does it matter? Does anything? Today, the band known as Piss have shared their first offering from their new album, time loop at hot slit; “a frenetic noise-punk examination of girlhood in a culture of sexualisation” but don’t quote us on that, whatever you do don’t be quoting us, we’re clearly not the cool kids. That quote is from the press release, i don’t who said, it hardly worth us saying much but hey, I like Piss, I like their raw anger and their no messing and the way they channel it is such colourful punk rock ways as they learn to paint those iron bars pink. They said I’d like it and I can’t say that I don’t… and I see they’s playing our street later this year, I like it when bands bring it right to our doorstep, here’s their rather excellent video. She, Taylor Zantingh, has spent nearly all her life learning the right way to scream so people would listen. Some words are better than…. Don’t be thinking it is all about screaming, the cuts are deeper than that, darker, or was that just a dream? There’s some real art here, not just another screaming punk band… by the way, if you don’t know Piss yet then you get a better picture of who is in the band down the page with that live video. What they are is a band who (already) matter….
