Hit the year running on the B of Bang at Cultivate Vyner Street with the first show of another busy year or the last big bang!? Opening night, First Thursday January 3rd 2013….

Back in December we put out the call for Bang

“So you’re asking about BANG!  What is it?  Is it us hitting the new year running or is it us going out with a bang!?  For the last couple of months I’ve been asking you if you want artist-rub spaces and if you do, then come get involved. For 15 months two of us have been running this space, battling to keep it alive, dealing with the negativity of a gallery system that doesn’t like artists doing it themselves, especially on ‘their’ turf down a unique street like this.

So Bang, in my head it is a gallery full of exciting colour, bold paintings, exciting sculpture, all up to you, are we going out with a bang or do you artists want to take this place forward?  Bang is what you make of it, our last big bang or the first of a lot of exciting shows in 2013   Artists, come bang…. what do you want to do?
