ORGAN THINGS: That new Enablers album in full, The Lucid Dream, The Residents…

The latest Enablers album talked itself out on to the streets last weekend, The Rightful Pivot is the name of the enabled piece or musical wordery, here’s the bandcamp version of it for you to explore and adore, is it a thing to adore?  is there anything left to adore now? I wanna be adored, is beauty behind us, it can’t all be about a dog eat dog attitude and walking over everyone else can it? Here’s the new Enablers album.

Thing of the Day today shall (once again) be the dreamy colourful thing that is The Lucid Dream. Pretty sure they’ve been a Thing of The Day before haven’t they? We don’t keep lists these days, they probably hve, hey should have been. Here’s a video directed by Freakbeat Films, and filmed at last years Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia.

 

 

The Lucid Dream also started a UK headline tour last week ahead of a new album. They still have the following dates to play – Thursday 12th February: Bristol The Mothers Ruin, Friday 13th February: Liverpool The Magnet (+ DJ Set from James Skelly – The Coral), Saturday 14th February: Manchester The Roadhouse, Friday 20th February: Newcastle The Cluny 2, Saturday 21st February: Carlisle The Brickyard, Tuesday 24th February: London Birthdays  Attendees will be able to purchase the coloured vinyl edition of the album over a month ahead of the 30th March official release in shops.

The self-titled new album is out on 30th March via via Holy Are You? Recordings on CD and on coloured vinyl via The Great Pop Supplement
