ORGAN THING: The second of Danny Elfman’s excellent series of singles, the return of the Other Rock Show on Resonance FM tonight…

The Other Rock Show returns this evening for a new season of weekly shows, 9pm UK time via the airwaves of London Arts Radio station Resonance FM. Hear it on F Mradio in London via 104.4FM or worldwide on line via the player at www.resonanceFM.com.

Once again, as always, The other Rock Show, brought to you by Organ, presents and an hour of music that uses unconventional structures and ‘other’ time signatures – gathered from the worldwide undergrounds of math rock, avant prog, weird electronica and strange pop. This week: music from Danny Elfman, Chancer, Cardiacs, Don Pie Pie, Nick Prol and the Proletarians, Army of Moths, the Assdroids, Thinking Plague, Gosta Berlings Saga, and a preview of the forthcoming new album from Black Country New Road. Follow the playlist on Twitter @OtherRockShow. Visit otherrockshow for more information. [The weekly shows are repeated on Thursdays at 8am.]

Meanwhile Danny Elfman is releasing a new single every month this year –

“This is a clip from Jesse Kanda’s video to my new single, “Sorry,” is out now on Anti Kanda is an amazing artist, and it was a huge pleasure collaborating with him. Initially these visuals were intended to accompany my opening song and the world premiere of “Sorry” at Coachella 2020 (which obviously didn’t happen). I was looking forward to opening the show with something intense that no one had ever heard before. Then the world turned upside down. So just try and imagine that when you hear it. I hope you like. I plan on releasing a single on the 11th of every month… for a while at least. So keep your ears peeled. Let’s see if I can pull this off!Stream & watch the full video now atdannyelfman.ffm.to/sorry
