Organ Thing of The Day: The Other Rock Show, as you may or may not know The Other Rock Show, present by Organ, by Marina to be precise, goes out on London’s rather unique arts radio station every Sunday night at 9pm. 104.4FM in London, on line worldwide via www.resonanceFM.com. Last night’s hour long show was an International Women’s Day edition.
Each Sunday at 9pm Marina Organ presents an hour of music that uses unconventional structures and ‘other’ time signatures – gathered from the worldwide undergrounds of math rock, avant prog, weird electronica and strange pop. This week’s show is an International Women’s Day Special featuring compositions and performances from Ava Mendoza, Spaltmeter, Charlotte Greve, Hidden People, Wendy Eisenberg, Gazelle Twin, Deerhoof and more. Plus, introducing Ukrainian hardcore punk riot grrrl trio, Death Pill. Follow the playlist on Twitter @OtherRockShow. Visit otherrockshow.wordpress.com for more information. [Repeats Thursday 8am.]

And if you do feel like making a small donation – We bring all this art, music and underculture to you for free, we really don’t want to clutter up our pages with annoying adverts, no one wants that, but it does take up a lot of time, hours and hours of time. If you should feel like supporting Organ/Cultivate (for it is one in the same) by making a small donation to help keep all this flowing that would be delightful, thank you.
Coming next? Well maybe these on line shows are monthly now, we did six in the first six months of 2021, this is our second of 2022, we will follow it up with an online show called Impart in March. Now if only the damn aloof elitist Arts Couuncil would see thia as being worthy of actual support, they do like to tell us in private how valued all this open-door Cultivating is. Seems officially they prefer those who talk it to those of us who actually walk it, once day we’ll work it why…
