Dear people, let it be known that the rather fine band Deer Tick have some UK live dates coming up in January and February, this is very good thing in a mellow kind of understated alternative kind of country rock kind of way. “Back in September 2017, for the first time in four years, the acclaimed and beloved Providence, RI band Deer Tick released new music into the world in the shape of two new albums; Vol.1 and Vol.2. Riding a wave of support from media and fans on both sides of the Atlantic, the band can now announce that they’ll bring their exhilarating live show back to the UK in Jan and Feb, including what will be a huge headline set at London’s Islington Assembly Hall. The new albums “Vol.1” and “Vol.2” out now on Partisan Records. Now I’m no smoker, but if the tale of the great smoke off doesn’t bring a smile to your face in an Alice’s Restaurant kind of way then well….  rather like Deer Tick, not as much a Deerhoof, do rather like Deer Tick though. just who is the big blue bug? Will there be lemonade?
