The rather enticing New Arts & Music Programme at Hackney’s authentically Tudor Sutton House goes on this weekend with This Heat’s (or This Is Not This Heat’s) Charles Bullen.

“Charles Bullen, of seminal experimental art rock group This Heat and its current iteration This Is Not This Heat, performs solo percussive prepared guitar in the Great Chamber of the Tudor home of Sir Ralph Sadleir, advisor to Henry VIII and Elizabeth I”.

This is a two night residency with Charles Bullen, with events on both Friday 20th April and Saturday 21st April. (booking is advised so they say). Support is from fellow This Is Not This Heat members Daniel O’Sullivan and Alex Ward on the Friday and from guitarist Nick Jonah Davis on the Saturday.
