“Dear all, as the world is experiencing an unpredictable moment in various ways, we’re at work on several projects that we hope will enliven and improve your experience of the months to come. On October 30th, the Italian label Dialogo will reissue “Dimensioni Sonore – Musiche Per L’Immagine E L’immaginazione” – the library-music project by Ennio Morricone and his regular collaborator Bruno Nicolai, each conducting their own pieces”.
.
Carefully remastered from the original analogue tapes issued by RCA in 1972, the 103 scores regarded by many as the crown jewel in RCA’s legendary library music series Catalogo Di Musiche Per Sonorizzazioni, are made available for the first time as a series of 10 individual LPs and a deluxe box set comprising them all: 5 LPs ascribed to works by Morricone and 5 to those of Nicolai, ranging from cerebral jazzy numbers to avant-garde abstractions.
