ORGAN: Five Music Things – The Early Mornings yet again, an alternative take from Black Country, New Road, more Febueder, more from God Damn, another list, some better late than never Female Allstars and well…

Get ‘Em Out By Friday…

Again and again and again and again. Five more music things, another five? Already? Alright already? You never answered the question, you never do, why is that? Poor what? Who? Where’s did we put the plot? Dive? Five more pieces of earfood? Shall we do it again? Back to back to back being back to the five musical things thing and the fractured music portal yet again (and again and again) and yeah, we did say all this last week and this is a test and the weeks before and blah blah blah while the whole world window and no, we never do and the proof of the pudding and all that proof reading. It doesn’t really matter if it was a television fizzing and going off and things back then when we first heard of the Window going off and things. and like we did ask last time, does anyone bother reading the editorial? Does anyone ever actually look down the rabbit hole or is it all just method acting? Cut to the chase, there’s loads of music further down the page, well five or so pieces of music, cut to the damn chase again…

This five musical things thing is mostly about just that, five musical things that have passed by in the last few days, five sound bites, five slices of musical information along with those oh so vital vital links and signposts staring back and making that hissing noise. You do read all this right? You did read that bit about Bandcamp Friday last time? I see Bandcamp Friday is coming up again. Enough of this, cut the crap you say, I know, on with the music, here comes whatever we have for you this time around, the low spark of high rise whatever… Let the music do the talking, here’s some Stuff and stuff

1: The Early Mornings may not have made the most exciting video ever but they do make rather fine music,. We have brought the rather rewarding Manchester band up before, here;’s their Bandcamp, there’s the aforementioned video that does kind of fit well with the spiky nature of their music, just like their perfect weather, they are just about the best new band around at the moment…

2: Pissant what? Never mind that, “Black Country, New Road release alternate, acoustic version of “Track X” titled “Track X (The Guest)” so reads the heafline, surely that makes the hit list, they are already proving to be a rather powerfully beautiful band, we did say all this already as well, not that you’d know from the music pimp’s latest missive… nice cat photo. For what it be worth, (not a lot so it appears), previously – ORGAN THING: Have Black Country, New Road just hit us with what could be the best album of 2021? I guess if you want to you ca ngo find this alternative version on thier Bandcamp, I guess you could, if you haven’t already checked out the album you’d probably be better off starting with that rather than alternative versions though. Thing is, Mr music pimp, you don’t thank us or share it or anything else when we do and when we don’t you send loads of those ICYMI messages, I really shouldn’t give a damn, I shouldn’t fliping care, why is that?

3: Febueder – “Official video for Febueder’s single ‘May Sun’. Available now” so it says here, there/s hundred of e.,mails laced with music and demanding attention, very few of them are worth that attention the various music pimps are demanding from us for some strange reason, this one is thoughh, Febueder have something just a little bit different, a creative need, a hint of msical a desire, a little more than just more virtual indie landfill. Here’s the Bandcamp, there’s the video for the new single. We have said this about the Ascot band several times on these fractured pages now, not that Febueder or thier pimp said thanks,, no, they just demand more space and time and why not? Why should they? Why? Just another music pimp wanting to get his latest band on some kind of five band shitlist. Wipe away that cynical smile, so far Febueder have prooven to be a rather positive experience, thanks all round don’t you think? “Official video for Febueder’s single ‘May Sun’. Available now

4: God Damn are apparently, according to the e.mail from their music pimp waiting in their in the mounting of e.mails from carious music pimps this morning, ready to release another album. TO celebrate this new product they’ve release some promotional material in the share of a video their label would like us to share to help push that product, but hey, the “product” is better than most of the “stuff” and those neurones must be stimulated and we’re a million miles from that flux of whatever it was now. here’s the video, do like the band, don’t like the video, here’s the god damn link for more should you fee like heeading to one of the corporate outlets and consuming (no Bandcamp we note, at least Bandvamp pretent to give a shit about te art of it all). Go spend your money, I got to go to the post office and post out some paintings I sold, yeah, more stuff consumed. The new album ‘Raw Coward’ is released on September 10th via One Little Independent Records, Yout is te fist single, it comes out this week I think, probably,

“Last year Black Country mainstays God Damn were reborn with the release of their uncompromising self-titled third album, one that truly felt like they’d shed all preconceptions and were fully dedicated to a sound and delivery that they’d long denied themselves. Now, with a new lease on life, the band have penned their brutal and unapologetic new LP ‘Raw Coward’, out September 10th via One Little Independent Records….”

5: Female Allstars just crossed our path, Female Allstars are “a four-member collective, all-female, based across London and Hertfordshire. The collective consists of Lady Shocker, Miz, Frankie StayWoke, and NyNy”. The collective formed mid-2019, with their debut release ‘The Switch-Up”, this track here, “Don’t Watch Me” saw the light of day right at the end of last year, find it on Bandcamp

And while we’re here with a piece of paper and a pen, let’s just park this rather impressive L7 cover right here. I made their shit list once, it was over a shirt design for a band that aped a Nirvana shirt, “you’ve made out shitlist” yelled a couple of L7s one night at a souncheck at the much missed Astoria.

Enough of cat photos and list and music pimps and the rest of it, here’s Manchester’s finest with the bestest punk rock song ever…
