Why? Well it doesn’t really matter why, a fifth on-line exhibition of 2020, an art show brought to you by Cultivate. We haven’t been able to put on physical exhibitions since the Covid lockdown stuck in March of this year, so on-line it is for now, well probably on-line forever and hopefully alongside physical shows on fresh white walls where the art can really breathe and people can meet and dance around it once we get back to some kind of normal and open doors and physical art galleries again. Why? A carefully curated art exhibition, a group show brought to you by Cultivate founders Sean Worrall and Emma Harvey – we’re artists first, artists doing it ourselves. We invited 41 of our fellow artists to join us for this 158th Cultivate show (we started Cultivate back in 2011), 43 artists, over 200 carefully selected images of pieces of art (along with the all important links so you can go find out more). No theme, no subject, just artists who are exciting us at the moment – some names familiar to Cultivate regulars, some artists new to us and joining us for the first time. You don’t need lots of words here, the art can do the talking. Why? Well why not? There’s probably more extensive notes down at the foot of this page, down beneath those vital vital links to the artist (do please use the links and go explore the artists, this show is a set of gateways, signposts). Here’s the art, I do hope you’re viewing on a decent sized screen, not some dreadfully small phone, the art deserves a decent screen, do run the slide show, do do do, enough with the words, this is why we do it, art excites, showing art excites, making art excites, interaction and engagement excites, finding new artists excites, that’s why… (sw)

And that was it, a fifth on-line show during these strange locked-down times. A big big thanks to anyone and everyone who has visited the exhibition, a big big thanks to all involved in the show.
And if you do feel like making a small donation – We bring all this art, music and underculture to you for free, we really don’t want to clutter up our pages with annoying adverts, no one wants that, but it does take up a lot of time, hours and hours of time. If you should feel like supporting Organ/Cultivate (for it is one in the same) by making a small donation to help keep all this flowing that would be delightful, thank you.
