The Dates for this year’s Art Car Boot Fair have been announced. As we’ve said before, the day when art lets down his or her hair (still wonder if art is a he or a she?), is always one of the highlights of the London art Calendar, and this year things are at to be a little bit re-booted. The dates have just been added to the official Art Car Boot Fair website. This year’s London event moves from the traditional Brick Line site to an exciting new venue over in Vauxhall and will take place on July 9th (midday until 6pm)

“Our news is that we are moving location to Vauxhall this year and effectively re-booting the event to get it back to our original idea of the artist always being present and creating something specially, just for the day. Our theme this year is The Original” so said Karen or maybe Helen, the duo who lead the Art Car Boot Fair team.”We’re teaming up with Newport Street gallery and U+I Plc to hold this years boot fair just around the corner from Newport St in the Old Firestation Workshop, the entrance will be on Whitgift Street. It’s a beautiful space with a large covered area and outside spaces at the front and at the back of the building”.

“We’re also planning to hold a second event next to the newly opened Folkestone Harbour Arm on the opening Saturday of the Folkestone Triennial on September 2nd”
