Coming up, in an attempt to kick off 2021 in the best way we can, a new art show. We will once again be hosting the next Cultivate on-line art exhibition on these ever busy Organ pages. It looks like art, like so many other things, will still need to mostly be happening on line at least until Spring, these things can’t stop though.
Cultivate will enter a tenth year of existence with an on line group show. ReCULTIVATE will be a carefully cultivated on-line group show put together by the Cultivate Gallery team who could well be some of tesame team that brings you all these Organ things. Opening night is Tuesday January 5th 2021, the time will be 8pm UK time. The open call element is still open, once again the artists involved will mostly be by invitation but the open call element is important closing date for submissions is end of day December 30th. “The intention is to make Cultivate’s tenth year a significant one”.

Rather like the previous Cultivate on-line shows, vive of which happened in 2020, the ReCultivate show will take the simple form of a slide show. Why? was the most recent of the Cultivate on-line shows, you can explore the 43 artists and over 200 pieces of art that made up Why? here. All of the precious Cultivate on-line shows can still be explored here on these Organ pages Here;s links t othe previous eleven – Why? / So Why Not Do It Again? / (And With Good) Reason / (Far From The) Turmoil / #43Artists / Attract Part Two / Intent (Part One) / Accidental / Something Blue / Something Black / Red

Meanwhile, Self will open in late February, we’ve just started working on Self, Self will be a strictly by invitation group show, no open call with that one. With our Cultivate hats on we’re drawing up the list of artists we want to invite right now, a carefully curated show of self portraits, watch this space, we’re rather excited about it, the idea of self portraits from artists who you’d maybe think were not that comfortable with the idea along with some who maybe are. Watch this space.
