Organ has now, as we write this page somewhere in early November 2025, been around for a ridiculous (very nearly almost) thirty nine years, which means we have been working with one particular band, Cardiacs , and in particular their leader Tim Smith , in one way or another, for about forty years now. Well no, we haven’t really been that involved since Tim was taken seriously ill in a rather drastic way in in 2008 and with the recent release of the album he was working on at the time, LSD , it really does feel like the closing of a very long chapter. In the next few weeks and months we’ll start gathering all the old interviews and features from the print and paper days of Organ and start posting them on this current Organ website (there is a lot). You can find quite a lot of that Organ/ORG Records /Cardiacs history documented in the third part of the three part piece LSD album.
